ALFATEC produces efficient conveyor technology with clean electricity
We have been focusing on sustainable solutions for many years in order to conserve resources and minimize environmental impact. Since 2017, we have been producing our ownCO2-neutral electricity with the power of the sun. This is ensured by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system with a collector area of 525 m² on the roof of our company building in Filderstadt. The system output of 99kWp enables an annual electricity production of approx. 101kWh, which corresponds to the needs of around 30 households. ALFATEC can thus cover most of its own consumption.

We ensure that any scrap metal is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and thus contribute to an intact raw material cycle. Steel recycling is applied environmental protection. For every ton of steel scrap that is used instead of pig iron in steel production, ore does not have to be mined, fuel does not have to be extracted and it does not have to be transported over long distances. Steel recycling conserves scarce raw material supplies, saves energy, reduces the environmental impact of residues and avoids significant carbon dioxide emissions.
