Lifting and Moving System for Special Load Carriers
The most important information at a glanc
If large and bulky components need to be moved on special load carriers (1.5 m × 2.8 m × 2.8 m), a conventional RBG must be converted into a special RBG. The special solution impresses with its small buffer zones and, thanks to its compact design, enables high space utilisation and storage efficiency. The drive axle is driven by a rack and pinion, while the lift axle is driven by belts. This combination of drive systems enables increased and faster positioning accuracy. As a result, more goods can be stored in less space compared to a standard RBG.

Optimal, even distribution of forces across all ALFA Speed rollers increases running smoothness and reduces stress and wear. The upper guide rail in this special RBG solution merely acts as a redundant guide. The forces generated are a fraction of those in conventional RBGs. The load on the automatic pallet racking system is therefore marginal. Conversely, this means that more cost-effective APLs can be used.
