Area of application and function
The solution transports components from the storage rack to the press and back to another storage rack. It ensures that the automated press feeding process runs smoothly.
Technical implementation
The linear portal consists of an X-axis and a Y-axis. The travel distance is 6,3 metres in the X-direction and 1,2 metres in the Y-direction. A load capacity of 250 kg is reliably moved. Recirculating ball guides in both axes ensure high positioning accuracy. At the customer’s request, an interface was integrated to optimally integrate the existing gripping system. Central lubrication reduces service and maintenance costs and extends intervals to a minimum.
