Telescope for the Food Industry

The telescopic solution from ALFATEC enables containers to be picked up precisely from a conveyor belt. It was developed specifically for the food industry and meets the highest standards of hygiene and precision.

Area of application and function

The solution is used to pick up containers from a conveyor belt using a special gripper. In the food industry, all components, including the special gripper, must be manufactured in accordance with food safety standards. The gripper is also equipped with a weighing device that determines the weight of the containers.

Technical implementation

Due to the limited space available, a slim and efficient telescopic design was developed. It achieves a stroke length of 3,600 mm with a retracted height of 2,285 mm. ALFATEC guide units from the linear guide system ensure safe, precise and low-backlash movement.
